[it's a little surprising, to have romance just appear like that, but mystery doesn't seem at all bothered. he lifts up from where he's lying on his bed, looking rather comfortable in his oversized sweatshirt and jogger pants, his hair a bit messy from just lounging around.
in one quick motion, he rolls and he's on his feet, striding over to romance and reaching out to toss both arms around his waist, face dropping into his shoulder.]
I might need a moment to get ready, but I'm glad you've decided to join me.
[he should, to be honest, it isn't like any of the other boys do it as often as romance does. and he definitely shouldn't stop because mystery likes it when romance just welcomes himself into his room. makes him feel important and whatnot.
his arms squeeze gently, face still buried in romance's shoulder, though he does pull back and glance up whenever romance starts stroking him like that.]

[ Mysteryโs hair is always soft under his fingers - unnaturally so, like itโs never seen a single bad day in its life. Romance idly twirls a strand between two fingers, slow and absentminded, the kind of touch that says he would do this forever if Mystery allowed it. Romance noses into his cheek, brushing his mouth along the curve of it before tilting higher, pressing a soft kiss into his hairline and breathes him in.
In Mystery's personal space and bedroom are his favorite places to be, combine them together and he's extremely pleased to be here, mood elevated, happy.
He gently tugs on Mystery's hair, breath soft over his ear as he dots his cheek with kisses. ]
[being fair, he's gotten more than a few chances to find things for his hair while they've been topside. sure, it's always been soft, but some of the products that humans have created have definitely added extra softness, alongside some shine and fullness. being stuck in the underworld can really do a number on someone, after all. he hums softly at the brush against his cheek, clearly content with that action and the twirling of his hair, a breathy little sigh passing his lips whenever romance kisses him. his hands shift, moving languidly up romance's back, over his shoulderblades and up until he can grip his shoulders, his face burying into the curve of his neck.
if they could stay like this forever, he would die a happy man, but he knows there are things they have to do, places they have to be and such. nevertheless, he's pleased, regardless of the fact that they'll have to let go at some point.
his breath catches in his chest at the pull, his lips pressing together as romance repeatedly pecks his cheek, the tips of his fingers pressing a bit more firmly against his shoulders.]
Ah... not too much? A few drinks, maybe a snack or two. Something to tide us over until dinner.
